Catch Up 4/10/12

The events of the evening begin with Hybris and a mime that had caught his attention. Hybris tried standing entirely still, to see what the mime would do. The mime then threw an invisible lasso around Hybris, and, much to his surprise, actually felt a rope. The mime drew the gnoll in, and placed him in a box. That turned into an actual box. He then put the box on a cart and transported said box to a dark room. The mime let Hybris out of the box, and wiped off his face. Literally. With only a mouth left, he began to speak to the confused gnoll. "You've got a pretty mouth. I bet you squeal real niiice, " to which Hybris replied, "Where the fuck am I?" The mime then replied "Such foul language isn't befitting of such a... Pretty mouth..." Hybris then charged at the faceless mime, but ran into an invisible wall and knocked himself out. He woke up outside the Noble's tavern, confused, and... Sore.

Inside he finds the rest of our party, who are approached by a young man who identifies himself as one of the Behrans. He asks if the group will help rescue a group of soldiers who were coming in from the Behran Province. The group accepts, and the next morning they set out to a small outpost town where the other group is believed to be being held hostage. They encounter a few goblins while inspecting the town, and end up focusing their sights on a large building, the only one they've yet to investigate. Inside they find bugbears and hobgoblins, and make their way through the building into an underground tunelly-cave thing. At the end of the cave they find a hole, dug deep into the ground. Bugbears seemed to be keeping watch over it, and at the bottom there stood a large wooden door. Lylas, after handing a rope to Dmitri, lowered himself down into the hole. And, for whatever reason, after he reached the bottom, Lylas yanked on the rope, catching Dmitri off guard and pulling the Paladin into the pit with him. While inspecting the large door, Ferrous climbs down into the pit. Dmitri, startled, shoots an arrow at him. And after realizing that it was only Ferrous, the Paladin looses another arrow. Other members of the group climb down, and they open the door to find a group of people tied up.

And then everyone turned on everyone else and everyone died.

Furthermore, I don't think we ever calculated exp from that last module. We should figure that out before tomorrow.
