Into the desert *DEPRECIATED*

"Good" Elros says in a soft voice "We don't want to attract animals"

"Or pixies." Dahlia stands, stretching her back and wings out. "I'm going to fly over to the river. I'll be back in a few." She flies away before anyone can stop her.

Stu sighs.

"If you get yourself killed out there, I'm not dragging your body back here."

Dahlia returns a while later, hair entirely soaked and looking thoroughly refreshed. "When do we leave?"

A questionable look comes across Stu's face. He rubs his finger on Dahlia's forehead.

"Usually Sarabi needs to be here for you do to idiotic things" Stu smirks.

Dahlia laughs and squirms out of reach. "I needed a bath." She sticks her tongue out at Stu. "When one can become invisible, bathing isn't that big of a risk."

"Except for, you know, the other Pixies that were probably watching you, seeing as Pixies are able to see each other according to you."

The smirk remains affixed to Stu's face.

"There weren't any around." Dahlia fishes around in her pack for something. "I would have been able to see them. Besides," She stops and grins. "Clothes aren't exactly mandatory where I came from. It's not like it would have been anything new." She turns serious. "And if there had been any around, they probably would have snatched me then and there. I was alone and vulnerable."

The comment on clothing catching Stu's attention, he ignores the rest of whatever Dahlia was saying.

"No clothes, eh? Perhaps I could learn to like squishy woodland creatures..." Stu says with a crooked smile.

"Mind out of the gutter." Dahlia laughs. "The pixie kingdom is so hidden by a glamour that you'd never be able to find it. And, if you did, you still wouldn't be able to see the pixies."

Stu sighs to himself. "Just can't catch a break." Stu says disappointed.

"Never been a huge fan of Dwarven women." He chuckles.

"I've never even really though about settling down or even courtship." Dahlia wrinkles her nose. "My parents had arranged a marriage for me. Which I politely declined."

"Politely" Stu smiles.

"An understatement I presume. Besides the occasional person I've met as I traveled, I haven't had the chance to setting down with anyone. Not to many non-dwarfs take to us."

He shrugs, "And frankly I don't know why"

"I've only traveled alone for about a year and half before I met up with all of you." Dahlia shakes her head. "And there's not many pixies around here that aren't from my kingdom."

"A year and a half? Child's plays." Stu sneers.

"I've been traveling before you were even a flicker in your mothers eyes."

"I'm still a fledgling, I know." Dahlia shakes out her wings.

"You know" Stu draws his scythe with a curious look "This damn thing has been glowing ever since I lost my shop and I have no idea why"

He holds an end out to Dahlia. "What do you think"

"Ah!" Dahlia looks startled. "My piercer did that, too! And then I put it in my box and it shattered..."

"Shattered?" Stu says with a grim look "But... I like this weapon."

"Well... I suppose I still have some dragon ribs left to make a new one if." He pauses "when this thing breaks." He shrugs.

"Pray that it doesn't break while we're out here." Dahlia smiles grimly. "Not like anyone here can fix it or fashion you a new one."

"I'm a Necromancer. Just because I like my weapon doesn't mean I need it" Stu says with a glow in his eyes.

"Lucky! Dahlia pulls out her piercers. "Without weapons... I'm fairly useless."

"And with them" Stu laughs "You're only half useless!"

Dahlia sticks her tongue out at Stu.

Stu smiles, "Not that theres anything wrong with that, I'm able to pick up the slack."
