Into the desert *DEPRECIATED*

"Lucky!" Dahlia laughs to herself.

"The name of my village doesn't translate from my native tongue to this one." Dahlia adds quietly, poking at the fire with a stick she found at her feet.

Stu half chuckles then continues to read his book.

"But yes, unlike you, I was a no one. I had no royal status or community importance. I doubt anyone would have been saddened, nonetheless notice my absence."

"Aww Mots, I bet you had someone who is missing you. I still wonder what my old teacher is doing."

"Eh... your old teacher?"

Stu closes his book and lays down to look at the sky.

"Yeah, the old wu jen who rescued me from the werewolves. Everything I know practically came from him." Urijoshi chuckles to herself, "Isn't this the night for remembering the past, eh guys?"

Dahlia laughs softly. "As long as your past doesn't come back and attack us, too, I'm okay with this!"

"If my past ever came back to attack us," Urijoshi eyes become yellow, "There will be no mercy."

"Mmm." Dahlia sighs. "Wish I could say the same. But I'm no match for them. Not alone, at least."

"They're insects" Mutters Stu, still looking at the sky. "Killing them is not difficult."

Urijoshi slaps Dahlia's back. "Theres no 'Dahlia fights alone' in Team Rape and Pillage!"

"Thanks. Pixies can be devilish." Dahlia scowls at Stu. "And they're not insects."

"Of course" Stu says to himself.

Dahlia flutters her wings. "Not an insect! My wings may look like it, but I'm not an insect."

Stu smiles to himself.

Urijoshi listens as Stu an Dahlia argue again, and thinks deja vu. "On a more serious note, Dahlia, what is the best way to fight pixies? No snarky remarks from you Stu!"

"The hardest thing is going to be their invisibility." Dahlia turns serious again. "They're tiny, obviously, and fast. And sneaky. They won't stay visible unless they have no other choice but to."

"So how are we going to force those damn pixies to stay visible?" Casper asks to the group.

"I don't really think you can." Dahlia stands. "When pixies use their invisibility, they stay invisible even when attacking. Most of the pixies we just saw are magic users, if I'm remembering correctly. No weapons to attempt to see." She lets herself go invisible. A moment later, her voice sounds on the other side of the campfire. "And there's absolutely no way to see them."

OOG:When invisible, do they still cast shadows?

OOG: I don't believe so. When I read the description, it said that pixies cannot be seen at all when invisible - not even when attacking - so I assume they wouldn't leave shadows.

"If you cant see them, you can't kill them. Unless they become visible and stand still long enough for me to put a rune on their back...

Pixies are dumb, right? That might work the more I think of it.."

Stu smirks.

Dahlia reappears and scowls at Stu. "They're actually quite clever."
