Entering Sheilra

DM Note: You have reached the village you have been traveling towards for ages. Xananthe leads you in, and you follow her to a small house, with one main floor and a small attic.

OOG: There will be a map of the town and one of the world will be up soon, probably before Wednesday. Don't rush me, I'm lazy.

Stu immediately goes up to the attic.

DM Note: Stu finds a small bedroom with a low ceiling, two twin-sized beds, a small window, and a dresser with a very dusty doily on it.

Melkor explores the pantry, searching to see if any food/drank is to be found.

Stu places what little possessions he has near the bed closest to the window to symbolize that it is now his.

DM Note: Melkor finds that the cupboards are all empty, except for an empty jar of very moldy looking vegetables.

Kiryan walks through the door and stands in the front room, taking in the sight. "Wow...it's a little dusty in here. But I suppose that it's better than sleeping in the rain. Some of us start to smell when wet..." She glances over in the direction of the carriage, where the goblins are still hiding.

Stu walks to the window to view people going about their lives.

Melkor, disappointed with the lack of anything in the pantry, continues wandering about the house. He does not go to the attic with Stu.

DM Note: Stu notices a good amount of people walking about the area, of a large range of ages and races. A good number look in the direction of the house, obviously taking note the new inhabitants.

Melkor finds that the ground floor contains a front room, two bedrooms, and a small kitchen with a door leading out back to a small yard and an outhouse.

Kiryan walks over to the back door, and then begins in traipse about the yard, searching for the best climbing trees.

Stu attempts to lock eyes with one of the many people eyeing the residence.

DM Note: A human woman holding the hand of a young child looks up at the attic window, catching Stu's gaze. She stares back, mildly concerned about the unbathed look of Stu's face.

Stu casts Feign Death upon himself.

DM Note: The woman gasps, and then begins tugging the child quickly in the opposite direction of the house as a look of shock and terror comes over her face.

Stu removes his spell and lays on the bed, feeling it for comfort. He opens the draconian book he acquired and begins sifting through its pages.

Kaer looks mildly concerned and goes up to the attic. She gives the place a quick, disinterested look and unceremoniously plops her heavier things on the remaining bed, being mindful only of her lute. Pulling out her flask, she nods to "Grimlar" with a rather bored-sounding "Cheers" before taking a swig and offering him some.

Stu glances over from his book and gives Kaer a pensive look. After staring at the flask for a few moments, Stu takes it. He closes the flask and begins to examine it.

"It's seen many adventures and many fine spirits. The one you'll find inside is rather...sub-par, but we've hardly seen a decent liquor establishment as of late."

Stu squints at the flask with a degree of skepticism before taking a small sip, handing back to Kaer after tasting the contents.

Kaer takes the flask and tucks it carefully back into one of her many pouches. "I'll be off to see if I can't replace this dishwater, then." She departs with the intention of seeing the city's bars and their crowds.

Stu simply returns to his book.

Mhoram carries his belongings up to the attic and sets up a small space with a bed as his own. He then finds the crystal skull and sets it on his bed. Mhoram takes an interesting ring from his pack that he received from a long time ago (the phylactory) and sets it up to be analyzed by the skull.

While he waits, Mhoram studies the interesting character of Grimlar, worried about his dodginess and potential danger to the group Mhoram watches over.

*side note: used one of my bed rolls from my pack

Stu's familiar floats over, intrigued by the skull. Stu glances over from his book for a moment to confirm what his familiar is rambling about to him.

"What is it?" He says with a mild gesture in the skulls direction.

DM Note: Psst....Noah...there are only two beds in the attic....Noah....did you bring a cot? Or are you sitting on Kaer's bed?

Adeleine and her wolf Devor walk into one of the bedrooms.
