Into the desert *DEPRECIATED*

Dahlia yelps when Stu tugs. "Careful!!" She cranes her neck around to watch him. "They're fragile and sensitive."

"I wonder if she'll mind if I cut off a piece of them" Stu jokingly whispers under his breath.

Dahlia squeaks indignantly and jumps away. "No way is that happening!!!"

Stu smiles and shrugs to himself.

"Suit yourself. I can't learn much anyways without cutting you open."

He pauses again to think.

"Come here a moment, give me one of your little knives." He says with a maddening look.

"No!" Dahlia floats up to sit on a tree branch out of Stu's reach. "There are dead pixies that you dragged off - go dissect THEM."

"Hm... I never thought of that. They aren't as fresh but they'll do."

Stu walks off to where he dragged the bodies.

Dahlia shudders visibly. "Should we stop him?" She doesn't move from her branch.

Stu returns some time later with one body over his shoulder. He drops it next to the fire with a thud.

"You ready to learn how you work?" He says with a grin only comparable to a child on Christmas morning.

Dahlia flits down and visibly pales. "Uhm... sure."

"Spectacular. Give me one of your knives." He outstretches his arm.

Dahlia pulls her old, rarely used dagger out of her bag and hands it to Stu. "Clean it before you give it back, please." She begins to rustle around, looking for brush anywhere but where Stu and the body are.

After a few minutes of slicing, Stu reveals most of the internal organs of the Pixie.

"Dahlia!" He cries out "Come look!"

"I..." Dahlia glances over, then pales even more. "Oh, gods..." She kneels down, head in her hands. "I knew that pixie. I fucking knew him..." A tear slips out.

"If he weren't here giving me knowledge he'd be back at his kingdom. You would probably be there, too. And I bet you'd be in a lot worse shape than this ones in right now." Stu says as he continues to work.

"Wow" Elros says seeing Dahlia fall to the ground. He cuts off the head of the pixie and through it into the woods. "Stu, be a little nicer if you go get the other one cover/ remove its face first." He looks at Dahlia "You wanted to kill your mom. Whats so special about this kid?"

"This one never did anything to me except grow up and train with me." Dahlia stands, shaky. "My mom was never anything but cruel to me."

Elros wipes the blood from his blade

"Please." Dahlia looks straight at Elros. "Let's go. Now."

"Interesting.

So you do still share a sense of companionship with them, despite them trying to murder you." Stu blows air through his nostrils.

"I don't think studying your anatomy will ever let me understand whats going on inside that dome of yours."

Stu rises from his work. "I'm ready when you are."

Dahlia snorts softly. "If you can figure out what's going on in my head, please inform me. I'd love for one of us to understand it."

Stu laughs as he manipulates the blood on his hands into an orb and causes it to fall to the ground.

"Well? Shall we go? I wouldn't mind a female specimen."

He shoots a smirk at Dahlia.

Dahlia laughs weakly and sticks her tongue out at Stu. "You can have a pixie queen to dissect."

Elros wakes the rest of the group up.

"Perhaps, I would prefer a younger subject. One of both perhaps!"

Stu trails off into thought.

"If I dies, you can have my box but not my body."
