Into the desert *DEPRECIATED*

Stu chuckles to himself.

"If love for shiny things were a weakness, the Dwarfs would have been wiped out Milena ago."

"Really?"

"Most do, yes." Dahlia nods, resuming her spinning. "I'm not as affected because I'm use to being around them. But most pixies would be rather distracted by shiny objects."

"Remember those floating orbs I created a while ago? Would your little bug friends go wild for those?"

"Maybe?" Dahlia shrugs. "It varies by the pixie what kind of shiny will distract them."

"Sigh... all I wanted was to get my shop back." Stu says with a frown.

"We'll get it back." Dahlia promises.

A look of skepticism comes across Stu's face. "I'll believe it when I'm drinking my beer from a beaker."

"Better make sure you have a clean beaker~" Dahlia sing-songs at Stu.

"You know, all this chatter has given me ideas for a plan.

However, I'm still a bit nervous about others listening in.

If anyone is interested, I'd happily fill you in tomorrow."

"I want to know, Mots." Dahlia looks at her.

Stu smiles to himself and lays back once more.

"If you have any ideas, I'd be glad to hear you out" Mots says, eying Stu dubiously.

"Kill the bugs, find the lab, get it back to where it was." Stu says apathetically.

"Very nonspecific." Dahlia fans out her wings, trying to warm them again. "It's cold out here tonight."

"Well, anyway" Mots continues "like I was telling Dahlia earlier, I think it may be best if we head back to Basala tomorrow. We can develop a plan of action there, as well as replenish our supplies. After that, we an continue on with our original mission. Does anyone disagree?"

"I agree. Once the sun goes up, we head back. We can return to our journey after a small rest."

"Heh... maybe some day you'll experience a winter in the high mountains where we make our homes... then you may speak to me about cold.... if you were to survive."

"I'd have a better chance of surviving in my box." Dahlia rolls her eyes.

"Alright. So we're going back to Basala then?

How exactly does this help me get my lab?" Stu questions.

"We'll get your lab back after we go back to Basala to restock and recuperate."

"...restock and recooperate...? We've been in the desert for barely one full day!" Stu exclaims with disappointment.

"That was before Dahlia's 'friends' interrupted our journey.
I'm sorry, I just don't like the idea of continuing on when we have no idea if they'll reappear or not. We want to be prepared if they return."

"We need to see if we can get more of the others to come with us." Dahlia throws in. "Sarabi and the like."

Stu mumbles something to himself unintelligibly.
