Basala *DEPRECIATED*

Dahlia looks at the cafe door. "Where do you think Sarabi went off to..?" She trails off in thought. "I wanna show him and Lakota my new baby..."

"He'd better be getting the beer back in this damned shop" He says gruffly.

"He never really had beer." Dahlia smiles. "I don't know how it got there."

Stu shrugs sarcastically.

"Yeah, not a clue at all"

Elros walks up stairs and into the cafe. "Hey pixie you should get me a drink"

"What's in it for me?" Dahlia sticks her tongue out at Elros.

Sarabi chuckles a bit and leans through the kitchen window, "Sounds like you folks have had quite the time over in your 'pixie kingdom'".

"Sarabi!!" Dahlia grins and flies over to him, holding the kitten out. "Lookie, lookie, lookie!!!"

Sarabi smirks and scratches the kitten behind its ear, "Neat little fellow. Got a name?"

"Rill!" Dahlia singsongs.

Sarabi nods and pats it on the head gently, "Where'd ya get him?"

"Her." Dahlia corrects. She smiles. "I got her in a wish from the god of death."

Stu leans towards Sarabi, "Be careful, That cat could explode at any moment."

He glances over at the cat and frowns.

Guthix walks in.

Elros sits at a table "I will give you 1gp" he says to Dahlia

"Nah, I don't think so." Dahlia shakes her head at Elros. "Besides, I'm not working right now."

Mots tucks her newly acquired book into her backpack and heads back to the shop.


Once inside, she passes through the main floor and climbs the stairs to the room that Elros had earlier mention was "hers".
She sets herself down at the desk at the far end of the room and slowly cracks open the strange book.

Startled, Mots takes a quick inhale. She stares for minute, then turns the page.

Startled by Dahlia's confession about her kitten, Daest sternly says "Dahlia, I wouldn't hold that cat too close to your face, wishes are very tricky things. What was your exact wording when you wished for that thing?"

Dahlia scowls at Daest. "I wished that I had a living, breathing, perfectly normal and healthy in every way kitten that loves me and wants nothing more than to protect me and help me to be my pet."

"You guys are all overreacting." Dahlia cuddles the kitten close. "Don't be so mean to her!"

"Dahlia, I'm going to tell you something. 'Normal' is based on perception. Whatever it is that granted your wish could have a very different perception of what exactly is normal."

"Daest, does this kitten look dangerous to you?" Dahlia holds the kitten out to him. "Look at her. There is nothing wrong with this kitten. She is not going to explode or kill people while we sleep."

"Its evil" Stu scowls.

"How is she evil?" Dahlia's expression turns sad.
